We’re so happy that you’ve chosen to stay in with us and we want to make this your Home away from Home! This guide will help answer some basic questions but always feel free to contact us should you have a question or need anything. Again, WELCOME!
WiFi: WiFi is Bayside Love, password is baysidelove75
Trash Collection: Trash is collected early on Monday morning. Please place the trash cans on the street Sunday night. If you check out on Saturday, please place them on the street and we’ll have someone bring them in on Monday. If you are still staying with us on a Monday, please return the trash cans to the trash shed.
PLEASE place ALL TRASH in trash bags before throwing the bags in the trash cans located outside. Please do not throw loose trash/food directly in the trash cans. Thank you
Roku TV: Roku TV will allow you to sign-in to your streaming TV services for the amount of time you stay with us. Power on the TV and follow the prompts to choose your check-in and check-out dates. This will automatically sign you in/out of all your streaming channels while you stay at Bayside Love.
Closing all the windows before you leave the house: Before leaving the house, please make sure to have all the windows closed in case of a rain shower/storm. Leaving the windows open will cause the floor/rooms to be soaked and damage the house.
Cleaning the glass-top stove: using the range is very easy and cleaning it is too! Use the sponge with some soap and water to clean the stove top. Dry the stove top with a paper towel. Use the stove top polisher to give it the glass-top shine. Shake the bottle, squirt it on the stove top, work it in with a paper towel and buff it off. You can use glass cleaner to finish it off.
Candles: Candles are not permitted to be used in the house. We have provided battery operated candles instead.
No Shoes House: In order to help keep our house clean, we ask that you remove your shoes at the door when entering.
Outdoor Shower/Hose: Please use the outdoor shower or hose to rinse off sand before entering the house. This helps keep our home clean and sand out of our shower/tub drains.
Use of BBQ: We hope you enjoy using the BBQ and ask that you make sure you have turned off the gas via the propane tank as well as the actual grill/knobs. Please make sure the grill is not too close to the house or fence. After each use, please be courtesy and brush/scrap the grill top (with provided grill brush) for the next guest.
Noise Level, after hours: Please be respectful of our full-time neighbors and be sure to keep loud noise to a minimum after 11pm.
Bikes, Beach Chairs, Corn Hole: These items can be found in the small room, attached to the house (right side if you are looking at the house) across from the fire pit. Please make sure to put these items back each time they are used and not left outside.
Beach Tags: (Only Needed for the high season, May-August. Children under 12 are free.) Beach tags are needed for Cape May beaches. We provide you with 10 tags. They can be found in the decorative box on the blue cabinet (in the kitchen). Please do not lose these tags. If the tags are misplaced, you will be charged $50 per tag.
No Dishwasher: The kitchens do not have a dishwasher nor a garbage disposal, therefore please be mindful of food/waste going down the drain when washing dishes. Please throw food scraps in the trash.
No smoking or vaping: Bayside Love is a smoke free home. No smoking or vaping. Thank you
Dirty Towels/linens: we’ve provided a hamper in the first floor bedroom and 2nd floor bathroom for your use. You may place used towels in the harper.
Check Out: Check out is at 10:00 a.m. Be sure to close all windows and doors. Please remove all trash. Place dirty linens in hampers. Make sure the kitchen items (plates/pots/pans/etc) have been cleaned and put away.
Our cleaners will arrive shortly after you’ve checked-out.
